AC Shadows Introduces Surprising AoT Event for Holiday Season
In a surprising collaboration that challenges traditional forecasts, the game developer has unveiled an digital crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, offering free additional story content for Shadows players.
Strange Questline Disclosed
According to the authorized release, "An unusual confrontation pulls characters Naoe and Yasuke into a new quest, where whispers of banned practices and monstrous metamorphoses reverberate through the obscurity." The narrative features a "oddly garbed woman named Ada" who assigns the pair with journeying into the Crystalline Cavern—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to save her friend from a hidden sect.
The questline focuses on "peculiar experiments and a fearsome enemy" and is open to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Iconic Places and Metamorphoses
The trailer features the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was formerly where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The teaser concludes with a striking sequence showing a character, likely the captive, changing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
