I will dominate 'serious combatant' Paul - Joshua
Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight round match which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the combatants confronted each other to promote next month's boxing match.
Former twice unified heavyweight champion Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge disparity - at Miami's arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Mentality
"I will damage his features and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
Despite such comments, a composed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually famous for his theatrics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul instead attacked ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian rejected a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, criticized UK rival Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Paul's Background
Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.

Nevertheless, the relative newcomer is still one of boxing's greatest money-making draws, consistently making huge financial rewards.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old anticipated a KO victory in round four or five and asserted he would prevent the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly in the works for 2026.
"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.
